Had few minor roof repair jobs that I wanted a honest and frank professional to look at and Jimmy is the guy. Some vent pipes, cracks in older roof kitchen fan, and a degraded shingle. He assessed the work, suggested cost effective solutions, and did the work, and no upselling. Haven't had rain to check if there's any real leaks, but from my assessment, he cares about putting in real professional effort.

We had a leaking skylight and Jimmy was able to come out the same day I contacted him to take a look at it. He quickly diagnosed the problem and was able to fix it and install a new skylight just a few days later. Jimmy and his crew were efficient, professional, and great about explaining and answering my questions. We had a great experience with this company and will contact them for future roofing needs.

Jimmy is absolutely awesome! I had a small leak, with an unknown external source (since leak would only happen when it rained). Jimmy showed up the next day, exactly when he said he would. Did some brief inspections and sealed up the suspect areas. He came with all his equipment - super prepared, 0 upselling, and relentless focus on finding a solution. We obviously don't know if this will solve the problem (gotta wait for it to rain), but even if it doesn't, I'm def calling Jimmy cause he's just awesome to work with. This part might come as a surprise to many, especially when dealing with contractors - I had to pay Jimmy more than he asked for, cause I thought he was undercharging me.

Jimmy and his team did a wonderful job on our new roof for my rental! He was able to provide a competitive quote quickly, walked me though his entire process and was easy to reach throughout the entire re-roofing. Although, I was not there locally, I felt very secure as he was great at communicating with me through text and email. Very happy with the end result and highly recommend!

We've had some problems with vents and fans for some time. Sound set fixed our issues once and for all. He upgraded our flimsy, plastic, broken vents across the roof to metal, and put on the proper venting solution for the hood, which on our roof was the wrong type of vent. During rain times, we could always hear the rain ping the vent at the hood. No more of that! He also inspected the roof altogether and found a few areas where branches had come down and damaged the shingles. He color matched the shingles and fixed those locations. He also inspected the flashing at the chimney and recommended a mason inspect it as well, since it's original and countersunk into the mortar, but starting to separate. He took before photos and shared them with us while discussing the problems and walked through all the things he did before leaving. Materials and labor were $650. Communication and scheduling was easy, and the day of service, he communicated the adjusted timing of arrival. He did a great job, I trust the owner and recommend this company for roofing related solutions.

Sound Set Roofing did a great job on our roof repair. I put out a request for bids on Yelp and had mixed results. One company had a $2,000 minimum. Another scheduled an on-site estimate in 2 weeks, which didn't work for our timeline. Jimmy at SSR messaged me with a reasonable quote over Yelp almost right away. I spoke to him later that afternoon, and he was on the roof getting the repair done by dinner time. The repair (flashing coming up on the roof) looks good, and he also re-sealed the pipes and chimney flashing while he was up there. All of that and the work was on the low end of the range from his original estimate. We're moving into a new home at the end of the month, and I'm planning on using this company for any roof work needed over the summer. Highly recommended.

Jimmy was awesome to work with. Got the job done promptly and stands by his work. In fact he fixed a few minor holes before I even contracted with him to do the work. He just saw them upon inspection and took it upon himself to 'stop gap' fix them while I pursued a few different quotes. In the end I went with Jimmy because his price was extremely fair, and he was/is a very trusting person. As a result I'm very happy with the work and the roof looks great. He knocked it out as he said it would in 5 days. Started on a Monday, finished on a Friday and protected garden during process as he said he would. Don't think I could have had a better experience.
